Can you replace a sim Card fora iPhone 7s or is it worth it. An att Store took it to switch over data and did not put it back in. I went back to the store later and they couldn’t find it. It was still a working phone.

No such thing as an iPhone 7s. 7 or 7 Plus only.
Yes you can replace sim card, and you should, as it holds your phone service and number for your carrier.
Without it, your iPhone will not be able to place calls or send messages.

Then it should be in there phone. The iPhone 7 cannot as mentioned work completely without a SIM card.
The AT&T should be able to provide a SIM card with your number and service settings.
