If I block an email address (junk mail) in my Mail app on my iPhone why does the email still come through into the Junk mail box on my desktop email client?
I thought that if I block an email address they wouldn't be able to send anything to me and it gets bounced back?

Blocking will either move it to the trash or keep it in the inbox based on your settings as you may have seen in the link. You might be able to see the options with the email provider you use about those types of options.

Yes got that setup in the Mail.app on my Mac and does a good job. I just thought that actually 'blocking' a specific address would make the email bounce back to the sender and I then didn't have to deal with it all.
