Apple Pencil alternatives affects iPad ?

I was wondering if an pencil which is not the Apple Pencil would affect the performance of the iPad ? As currently I am using an alternative pencil and lately my iPad have been having some problems like glitching, the words won’t come into form ( it turns into lines or continuous dots). Is this the problem from iPad itself or it’s because of the pencil ?
