Unable to delete Exchange mail account

I was recently laid off from my company and because of this, I'm no longer able to access the Exchange mail account. It keeps asking me to enter a password, but all my access has been terminated so I can't. I can't delete this account until I enter a password, I can't add any new mail accounts, I can't access my Apple ID account until a password is entered. I don't know what to do.

Go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions and change Account Changes to Allow. If it is already change it to Don’t Allow, then back to Allow.

Then go to Settings/Mail/Accounts, tap on the account and you should be able to delete it.
