VENTURA OS Issues: USB-C network adaptor Issues (NOT WORKING): VOLANS VL-RJ45S-C Aluminium USB-C to 2.5GbE Ethernet Network Adapter 10/100/1G/2.5G

Hi

I have a VOLANS VL-RJ45S-C Aluminium USB-C to 2.5GbE Ethernet Network Adapter

When i plug it in its all detected by mac OS and the blue light on the dongle is lit up but the Ethernet cable on my switch is not lit up...I get the following "not connected" indicator:

When I plug it into another mac book with Monterey OS it works perfectly.

Is there a know issue with getting this working on Ventura OS ?
