Have you had the battery in your phone replaced recently? If yes, the message indicates that the wrong battery was installed.


Battery Health / Maximum Capacity settings will likely not work correctly, if they work at all and phone may tend to overheat as well.


We can't say whether having the wrong battery will prevent you from updating the software on the phone. What happens when you try?
