Do I receive confirmation of cancellation?
I follow the instructions of how to cancel the subscription of Duolingo but nothing happens when I touch “Cancel subscription” button. Will I receive a confirmation email if I succeed??

After clicking the Cancel option, you should get an “Are you sure?” confirmation box. When confirmed, then it is canceled. After cancelation, the subscription details would change: The Cancel option is gone, and the next billing date line would change into an expiration date. For most subscriptions, the service stays valid until the end of the current billing period. For most free trials, canceling would have the subscription expire immediately.
No confirmation email will be send, as that is near-meaningless and valid only for that moment: If you choose to later re-subscribe, then a cancel confirmation would contradict this.

it’s very helpful to know what will happen when cancellation is proceed.
i succeeded cancellation only because, I assume, I tried it at my home internet connection. When I tried the same thing at other places it didn’t work. Although I’m not sure if that’s the reason.
