Screen time limits not requiring password

I’ve set certain apps to not be available during “downtime,” but if I go to use those apps, there appears an option to “ignore limit for today.” Clicking this button does not even require me to type in the screen time password, rendering the limit completely useless. What’s up with this? And why doesn’t it require the screen time password to disable?
