My dear old iPhone 4s has been temporarily loaned to a much younger relative. Sadly he has handd it back not wrking. Any advice please?

How can I get it updated to ITS LATEST IOS?

What exactly is "not working"? Are you saying that the iPhone will not power on at all?


Please assume that we cannot see your phone, so things that are obvious to you are totally unknown to us. We will only know as much about your issue as you can tell us.


The iPhone 4s cannot be updated to anything higher than iOS 9.3.6


Finally, Apple has classified the iPhone 4s as Obsolete, so the Apple Store or Apple Service will not be able to help on any service or repairs.
