MLS Season Pass shows all the scores of games!
What’s the fun in watching a game replay when Apple shows the score on a completed game up front during the game selection process??!

Thank you, I figured it out after awhile playing around. That ‘show all scores’ feature should probably never be a default first time app user feature! Glad it could be turned off! Was about to cancel my subscription! :)
I use a fire stick interface on my tv, go to AppleTv app, select the settings option ( on top of screen on the far right) click down to Privacy section and turn Show Sports Scores off.

There is an option to hide scores in the interface, through the in-app Settings.

If you’re watching in a browser (Firefox or Chrome), then the site tv.apple.com has a Settings page where you can set the option to show or hide scores.
It appears that the TV app on Mac doesn’t have such a setting yet. Please join with your feature request, so that we can see that is a future update. Feedback - Apple TV App - Apple
On the Apple TV box (4th generation HD or 4K), the setting would be at: Settings﹥Apps﹥TV app﹥… , when you are set up for a country with a Sports tab in the Apple TV app (US or Canada, I think). That option doesn’t seems available on the box in other countries at this time.
If you are set up for an unsupported country for this option, then please give feedback to Apple, urging to include this option in an upcoming version of the software. Feedback - Apple TV - Apple.
The enjoyment of watching a game replay can come from various aspects, even if you already know the final score. Here are some reasons why people might still find it enjoyable:
While it's true that knowing the final score in advance can remove some element of suspense, the reasons mentioned above highlight that there are still many aspects of a game that can make a replay enjoyable for fans.
Never mind found the menu to turn that function off…:)
Thanks Urquhart1244. I will use the feedback link. I guess you tried your original suggestion and found, as I did, that the hide scores option is not there. I already dropped $49 for the rest of the season and I wonder if I can get a refund or if I am just out the money. I live in Hawaii so most games come on at around 1 AM which is why I want to watch delayed, just as I watch Premier league on my DVR and on Peacock. I just have to be careful to watch in chronological order as the announcers often give the scores of other matches. I also notice that many MLS matches seem to start at or near the same time so delayed viewing would be nice even for those living in the same time zones. Staggered start times, as in the PL, might even be a suggestion for the MLS. Thanks again.
Doesn’t work. You can toggle off the Show Scores setting, and it will still allow the score of any live game. It’s just badly designed from a company that’s had 6+ months to fix it.
That's a good question! So I turn on the TV and select HDM2 which, for me, is the Apple Box. When it opens up, I see all the various streaming apps like Apple, Netflix, Crave, etc., and this is where I do find a "Settings" option. When I open Settings, what I see is a long list of options, starting with General, Users and Accounts, Video and Audio, etc., but no "TV". I thought "TV" might be buried in one of the other options here, but I couldn't find anything. I also opened Apple TV+, but saw no "Settings" option there either. Hope this is clear!
Thank you so much! Just tried it and works like a charm! I never knew of such an option and would never have found it on my own in a million years! I can't wait to tell my friends about this!
Thanks again!
Thanks Nathalie! What you say is very true! However, many of us derive great satisfaction from viewing a game not knowing what is going to happen next. And this is the problem with watching replays when "spoilers", in the form of "winning scores" or photos of winning teams or players celebrating their achievements, are right up front for all to see -- much of the "surprise" element in the game is no longer present. I would suggest that, ideally, one should be able to view the replays without these spoilers if this is one's choice.
Only if you have the Apple TV device. If you pay the full amount for Season Pass to watch on a Mac, you should get the full package not a crippled version. Is the intent to push people into buying the device?
What if you are watching on a laptop? I do not have Apple TV+ and I don't want to watch it on my iPhone. How can I hide the scores on my Air?
Me too! Same Problem!
Please tell me where you find the "Settings" page on appletv.com!
