Error code -36

I am confused about this pop-up when I try to delete a screenshot or folder, it says

this. How do I fix it because I've tried searching but none of the answers ever worked, do I need to abandon this laptop and get a new one? Is this fixable?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2

Error -36 is an I/O (input/output error) and it may signal an issue with your storage device. I would boot the Mac into Recovery, and run Disk Utility First Aid on that main storage device name (e.g. Macintosh HD). The trailing "3" on that screen shot name suggests it has been written three times which is odd as the time stamp would have varied with each screenshot. Is this screenshot on your local drive, or a cloud service?

Follow one of these based on your Mac hardware. Only the Disk Utility portion:

Use macOS Recovery on an Intel-based Mac - Apple Support

Use macOS Recovery on a Mac with Apple silicon - Apple Support
