Hi guys,

I’m trying to download chatgpt on my iphone 7+ but the app require software version 16.1 or later and when I check for a new update it gives me that you have the latest version!

An iPhone can only run iOS 15.7.6, if you want to run that app, you will need a newer phone.

That is because your iPhone 7 cannot update any higher. Its hardware is too old to support a higher iOS versions. In order to download that app, you will have to buy a new/newer iPhone.

You are correct. Your iPhone 7 Plus has the latest version and that is iOS 15.7.6.

The iPhone 7 Plus cannot be updated beyond iOS 15. You will need a newer model iPhone to install iOS 16.

You will need an iPhone 8 or higher if you want to run iOS 16. Try for an iPhone 11 or higher if possible.
