The four-digit code your iPhone is asking for is your Screen Time passcode. The Screen Time passcode is separate from your iPhone’s passcode and is used to secure the Screen Time settings.

If you’ve forgotten your Screen Time passcode, here’s how you can reset it:

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time.

2. Tap “Change Screen Time Passcode”, then tap “Change Screen Time Passcode” again.

3. Tap “Forgot Passcode?”.

4. Enter the Apple ID and password that you used to set up Screen Time.

If you can’t remember your Apple ID password, you’ll need to reset it. Go to the Apple ID account page and click “Forgot Apple ID or password”.
