Apple id not responding

On my iPhone when I go into settings. My name and my initials are grey and the icon does not respond when I tap it. I was about to delete some unwanted pictures from my iCloud as its storage is completing but its not allowing me to open the iCloud id. I cannot access any features by clicking on the picture as its became complete gray.
