Photos missing from icloud settings

On my iPhone running 16.5 I do not have a photos option in the iCloud settings. It’s in my Mac and my iPad but not on the phone so I am unable to to turn on sync. Does anyone know why this could be ?

iPad photos stuck on “syncing with iCloud…”? My iPad is not syncing to my most recent photos from my phone nor am I getting photos from my iPad to my iPhone. Iphone won't allow to toggle on the Sync this iPhone button for iCloud Photos Does anyone know how to fix this problem? My iphone is not syncing with the iCloud for photos. When I go to settings under iCloud Photos, I try to toggle on the "Sync this iPhone" buttong but it won't allow me. It says that my iPhone is storing 2.87 GB of pohtos and videos, and I currently have only 942.3 MB of iCloud storage available. It seems to be asking me to buy increased storage, but in the past it should not stop my phone from syncing. I used to be able to go to iCloud.com, take the existing photos off iCloud and my device and other ones would populate so I could slowly take them off of my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this? If not is there an easy way to remove the photos/videos from my phone without using iCloud.com? Thanks for your help!

iCloud Photos not Showing on Mac but show on iPhone I have thousands of photos and videos on my iphone going back more than 10 years. They are set to backup to my icloud and all works well. I have the same iCloud account signed in on my Mac but in the photos app iCloud is not checked. So there is no sync between photos and iCloud on the Mac. In the photo app library , there are only about 15 images visible, compated to the thousands in the photos app on my phone. I was thinking to check / turn on iCloud in the photos app on the Mac, but I am concerned that these 15 images might replace the thousands of images that are already synced to my icloud account from my phone. Any suggestions how I can see the phone images on my Mac? Would be so grateful for any advice... Many thanks :-)

On iOS 16 you will find the iCloud Photos Settings under

Settings > Photos
