Remove Apple TV ‘now playing’ control panel shown on lock screen. iPhone 14 pro max

Exactly - This is the real issue. My phone displays what my kids are listening to in their room or what my wife is watching on TV while I'm working in my office. It's driving me insane! I've never hated anything more about Apple than something like this that takes over everyone's phones.

This is just one of many many many examples of how the quality of iOS has deteriorated over the last few years.

If I’m in another room on Instagram on my phone and I try to turn up the volume on my iPhone, the TV in the living room starts blaring. It’s the most useless and annoying feature ever.

you should only be able to control TV volume if you actively select it or are in the remote app.

how many times have we had Major releases of iOS with very few new features as they were intended as “quality and bug fix releases”, yet here we are on 17 and it’s even worse.

another infuriating example - disconnecting from CarPlay and the Music widget is still on my Lock Screen even though the music app isn’t open. Only way to dismiss it is to unlock phone, open music, swipe up and close music. It’s insane.

iOS needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

This need to be fixed. I never had this issue before switching to my new 15 pro this is so f-ing annoying. I hate for mostly aesthetic reasons but i also dont want or think this should be on here. Who tf asked for this? A more productive use of time would be to fix the email app from immediately backing out of edit mode after one email action. 😡😤🤬😡😤😡😡😡😡😤

well im on ios17 and i cant turn it off. i keep going to get uo off my couch with my phone in my hand and it exits my show or fast forwards. sooo annoying 😅😅

Either this or turning Bluetooth off on your iPhone… which again is not a solution.

not always if i play something from the apple tv it doesnt give the iphone as a option
