can I upgrade from Big Sur 11.7.1 to Ventura on my Macbook pro M1

Before installing, it’s a good idea to back up your Mac. While installing, avoid putting your Mac to sleep or closing its lid. Your Mac will restart, and it might show a progress bar or blank screen several times.

Yes.


Though, technically possible but would suggest updating Big Sur 11.7.1 to Big Sur 11.7.7 first to avoid possible disappointments or possible issues.


Also, be sure to have reliable Internet Connection - preferred Ethernet Cable to Router


Also, Remove a Third Party Security Software ( if any ) before moving forwards. They are known to interfere with the update and or upGrade process


Lastly, have at least 50 GB of Empty Space to allow the 12.xx GB Full Version of Ventura to download, then expand and only then commence the installation
