I cannot remove an inactive icloud account on my macbook

I try to delete it in INternet Accounts, then the account name that says inactive, It then does nothing.

In my mail account i go to Settings i choose gthe icloud mail account to minus, it then says The iCloud accouny XXX@mail is sahred by other applications on this Mac. You can remove this account in INternet accounts"


It taked me there, i click on Delete Account, it does nothing:(

It sounds like you're having some difficulty removing an iCloud email address associated with a previous Apple ID. We can help.


Any time you download an app, it gets associated with the Apple ID that was in use when it was downloaded. You're probably unable to remove the Apple ID while apps that are associated with it are still installed. Keep in mind that not all apps are available for download if removed, it will depend on if the developer still makes them available or not.


A resource you can check out first is to Sign in or out of your Apple ID on Mac. If you need to remove apps, you can follow these steps to Uninstall apps on your Mac.
