Final Cut Pro. Split screen zoom.

Made a split screen in final cut pro. Trying to zoom in on both images at the same time and that is working fine, but I cant get them to zoom in at the exact same place. How do I do that?

iMac 24″, macOS 13.4

Can you post some screenshots of your timeline and viewer?

Not sure if it is adequate for what you are trying to achieve, but maybe making a compound clip and scaling the compound could work.

For an excellent introduction to FCP start with Steve Martin’s 60 minute intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqUP7Zgeuck. For a more in depth introduction use the IzzyVideo tutorials. The version is a bit dated but the principles are the same.

This is my first day with Final Cut Pro. I can only zoom in into the middle between the photos.
