My old carrier that I’m no longer under contract with has locked my SIM. I need to get it unlocked for my new carrier and I’m furious with old one and do not want to contact them! Please help?

Hello Brandon_21!

Unfortunately, only your carrier can unlock your Carrier Locked device. So you’ll have to humble yourself one last time, and contact them.

I hope this is helpful. Good Luck!

Although your contract might have ended with your carrier, that does not mean that the phone is automatically unlocked.

You will have to contact the carrier to have them remove the lock. Only the carrier can remove the lock. Apple is not involved with this.

Depending on the actual wording and details in the original agreement, the carrier may be under no obligation to unlock the phone, even if the contract is up.

Good luck!
