Subscription and purchase is not helping with refund

I had an offer for 6 months free Apple Music I didn’t intend to renew it but apple took $10.81 and when I try to ask for a refund the subscription will not pop up.

iPhone 8, iOS 16

Seems a free trial needs to be cancelled at least 24 hours before it expires in order to not be charged for the next month.


You may still need to cancel the subscription to Apple Music, so you don't receive more charges:

Else: You could check in the music app to see if you can cancel there

or

What to do: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple – Apple Support


Learn about special circumstances in some countries and regions.

About canceling subscriptions in Germany, Israel, South Africa, or Türkiye - Apple Support


If you still can't find the subscription and cancel it, contact Apple Support.

Re Refunds:

If the money has been deducted (not pending):

How to: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple – Apple Support


NB: If you request a refund, you need to wait for Apple to approve it. If you receive a message from Apple.

that your refund has been approved, it will be refunded to the same payment method that was used,


How long refunds from the App Store or other Apple services take:

Check the status of a refund for apps or content that you've bought from Apple – Apple Support
