Clean my Mac suddenly appeared in my apps along with Alfred

My Mac is constantly full but I cannot delete apps for storage and now CleanMyMac and Alfred suddenly appeared and I cannot seem to delete apps

Application storage is way larger than calculated size My Mac mini is a 2025 512gb version and it's consistently getting 'full' despite me working to keep it as lean as possible. In the storage calculation and in disk utility it says that 'apps' are taking up nearly 300gb of space yet when I click to open the apps folder they totally nowhere near that, more like 25gb max. I've used a third party cache clearer and manually removed the cash files. System date is only 25gb roughly so where the hell is the extra 200 odd gb being stored. Can someone please help out - please don't suggest doing what I've already done before - this 200gb must be somewhere! Appreciate you!

MacBook Air Storage: Cannot delete listed app In clearing out space on the storage of my 2020 Macbook Air, I discovered that the largest application taking up space is one that does not actually appear to be on this device. Below I have included a screenshot from going to System Settings > General > Storage > Applications and this is the list of applications taking up space in my storage. I have blocked out all of the other apps in the screenshot to show that the largest application taking space (at top of list) is The Jackbox Party Starter, an application that does not actually appear when I search in Finder, Applications, or use Spotlight Search for this device. If you look to the bottom, you'll notice that it does not allow me to select "Delete..." for this app when highlighted, and when I select "Open Uninstaller" nothing happens. I tried looking for the folders listed at the bottom as well, but nothing exists on my device titled "Steam" or "The Jackbox Party Starter." This is all from a game I purchased several years ago and deleted (or so I thought). Can anyone advise what could be going on with this ghost application and how to actually delete it so I can free up the storage?

Deleting MacBook Applications I have some old Applicaations on my mac that I cannot delete. If I use Command/Delete, nothing happens. If I move it to the Trash it simply makes an alias in the trash. I've tried using Clean My Mac. Won't delete them. What else can I try? Thanks much.

Apps don’t appear, outside of some specific circumstances.

Are you possibly sharing an Apple ID with somebody else?

Is iCloud Files and Documents sharing enabled?

How many users have logins on this Mac?
