Apple Watch Ultra freediving microphone issues

Hi everybody,

I would like to know if someone else is experiencing the same issue… After a free diving session about -20/-25 meters deep in the ocean the Apple Watch Ultra’s microphone doesn’t seem to pick up any signal, i have to rinse it with fresh water and wait as long as 1 to 2 hours in order to get it to work again. Two times this week and I’m pretty worried that this could become worse in the future. It really helps me in my training and it would be sad to replace it for a Garmin or any other watch because it completely ruins the purpose of having only one watch that does it all…

Hope someone could share a solution, am I the only one?

thanks!

If you have Apple Watch Ultra, you can wear it during recreational scuba diving up to 130 feet (40 meters) and other activities like swimming, showering, and water skiing. Although the Apple Watch Ultra has a water-resistance rating of 100 meters, water resistance isn't a permanent condition and can diminish over time. Apple Watch can't be rechecked or resealed for water resistance. For more info, see:
