If the “Message Blocking is active” error occurs, it might be due to you blocking the recipient or vice versa. Here’s how to check if you’ve blocked someone:

1. Go to “Settings” on your iPhone.

2. Scroll down and tap on “Phone”.

3. Tap on “Blocked Contacts”.

4. Here, you can see a list of all the contacts you have blocked. If the person you’re trying to send a message to is on this list, you’ve blocked them.

To unblock a contact:

1. In the “Blocked Contacts” list, find the contact you want to unblock.

2. Swipe left on the contact and tap “Unblock”.

If you’ve confirmed that you have not blocked the recipient, then it’s possible they have blocked you. In this case, you won’t be able to send them messages until they unblock you.

However, the error could also be due to issues with your carrier or your text message settings. If the problem persists, it would be best to reach out to your carrier for more assistance.
