Internet recovery on Mac? Not working?
My Mac just erased itself and won’t start up and when I turn it on it shows “starting internet recovery but then fails

Reinstalling the macOS:
A. Use Ethernet:
In Internet Recovery Mode (intel or silicon), if WiFi is not working, then use an Ethernet connection. If you have no ethernet port, then this is the adapter to use: The Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple
B. Use a USB Bootable Installer:
If Internet Recover Mode will not work, then another option is to use a USB Bootable Installer. Purchasing it off of the Internet (i.e. eBay, or Amazon, or CraigsLists) is not advised, as it may contacting spyware and the like in the install. So, create it using a different Mac. Create a Bootable Installer for macOS - Apple Support
