I’m using my iPad but under find my it shows only my iPhone. How do I get my ipad to find itself

Ensure that Find My iPad is properly enabled in iPad settings:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Find My > Find My iPad >
When enabled, your iPad (and other devices that are similarly enabled) should appear under the Find My App Devices tab.
You should note the Me tab will only show your location for the specific device that you have chosen to share your location with other people. This can only be enabled for one of your devices that are signed-in with your AppleID:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Find My > Share My Location
