Some items were not copied to the iPod because they could not be found - error message ipod

Getting this error message when trying to sync items.

To be honest had a few problems recently with songs missing or only half-uploaded. So I restored ipod and started agon, not half of the library won't sync.

I have all of my music on icloud (in case that's a factor) as there wasn't room on my macbook pro. But previously that wasn't an issue, all the tracks are still there on the cloud, just for some reason won't sync.

Mac is Ventura 13.1.1

ipod is classic 5th gen

Use it all the time in the car as I don't have a smart phone, would love to get it working again and welcome any suggestions. I'm not techy so might have to ask for clarification of techy answers

I cleaned mac (with clean my mac) also deleted cache and logged in and out of wifi....nothing working.
I even tried a VPN in cse that helped, but nothing so far.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Ouch.

Suspect the root cause of this issue are related to CleanMyMac aka " BrickMyMac "

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS,  is an invitation for disaster

Certain Applications maybe available on the Apple Apps Store - this only means the Developer is prepared to pay Apple a portion on each sale.

What the Application may do to the computer is up to the User to check this out before purchase

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions

1 - Disk Cleaner

This will include CleanMyMac , aka “ BrickMyMac “

Read some of the posting and arrive at your own conclusions.

Specific to CleanMyMac aka “ BrickMyMac “

The steps in #1 below is predicated on the Offending  Application has been Removed as per the Developers Specific Instruction

# 1 Some Contributors suggest restarting in Recovery Mode and choosing to Reinstall the Operating System over  the existing installation.

This may or may not replace elements of the Entire Operating System including the Home Folder ( User Account )  and replace any corrupted or removed elements of the Operating System and make thing right.

#2 - Then there are Other Contributors ( like myself ) would suggest  from this link Use Disk Utility to erase a Mac with Apple silicon.

For Intel computer >> Use Disk Utility to erase an Intel-based Mac followed by How to reinstall macOS

Thereafter to start from scratch and install all Required Application directly from the Apple Apps Store or Directly from the Developer.

If going this route - I suggest Not using Startup Assist to migrate things back as this will probably Re-Introduce the existing  issue that existed when the TM Backup was made

Right this all feels a bit out of my league, I certainly would be worried about deleting everything and hoping I could reinstall...I think a trip to a Mac Repair shop may be in order.

Shame about CleanMyMac, I installed it as i was recommended by an online review of useful things to keep Mac running well, but as a non-techy person I wasn't able to look beyond basic reviews. Would you recommend any other programmes to help clean up junk and delete duplicate files, etc?

Will try and find help
