Since the last few days I can only write using dictation. The scribble pad is gone. Swiping up from the typing screen results in nothing. I can't find any setting and right now the only way I can type fast is by opening up the keyboard on my Iphone. Where has my scratch pad gone and how do I re-enable it?

If you haven't yet, the first step we recommend is to Restart your Apple Watch.
1. If your Apple Watch is charging, take it off the charger.
2. Press and hold the side button until you see the power buttonin the upper-right corner of the display.
3. Tap the power button.
4. Drag the Power Off slider.
5. After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.
