TM Backup will make Snap Shot on the Internal Drive awaiting the TM Backup Drive to be attached.

Oops ... apologies ... seems that setting changed when Ventura arrived ...

Also: more is done automatically, and with iCloud .. try clicking the (i) info button beside Music Creation.

___________

For Ventura: Optimise storage space on your Mac – Apple Support

says:

"Apple menu  > System Settings, then click General  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

Click Storage on the right.

View the recommendations and decide how to optimise storage on your Mac."

FYI in friendly terms.

I do not use GarageBand either.

Even though it came pre-installed with 3 different M1 / M2 Computers

Removing the GarageBand Sound Library will save about 2 to 2.4 GB of Space on the drive.

Those figures are from my fading memory cells ( humour here )

It will do not harm to the computer

If you every decided to install GarageBand - that can be done from the Apple Apps Store

The cloud with Down Arrow means I can Reinstall it

Re: Music Creation

If you have recorded, or created your own music in Garageband, you may want to back-up those files for safekeeping.

Else:

Seems the files would be mainly the Sound Library and downloaded loops for creating music in Garageband. You could click on the "Manage" button if you want to delete those, and not use the app for creating music.

(More info: Discussion thread: What is Music Creation? (2.5GB) - Apple Community)

Re: Photos

If you have another storage device, such as an external drive connected to your Mac, you can move files to that device. If they are backed up to Time Machine as well, you could just delete any photos you no longer want on your Mac.

or

Media files, such as photos and videos, can use a lot of storage space:

If you want to, you can Move your Photos library

Re: Apple TV

You can save space by automatically removing Apple TV movies and shows that you already watched : choose TV > Settings, then click Files.

See Change Files settings in the TV app

Re: "How to delete some of this stuff in Storage"

Thank you for your question, and your screenshot.

Before deleting anything, it is always a good idea to back-up everything.

That way, you can retrieve anything you may want to view again later.

Eg: How to: Back up your Mac with Time Machine

Apple support have articles online (links below) with lots of tips, so you may wasn't to browse through them to see what will work best for you, with your Mac.

Connect and use other storage devices with Mac - Apple Support

If you wish: Allow use of external and removable storage – Apple Support
