Unwanted bookmarks appearing in Safari

Question

When Safari opens three old bookmarks appear. When I open additional bookmarks the three do not vanish

They sort of look like pinned pages. Can you ctrl-click on them and choose unpin?

Maybe it is some extension you have loaded.

Can you drag them to the desktop which should make them go away.

Alternatively, with Safari open go to Bookmarks>Edit bookmarks and find them there and delete them
