Gets error 4013

My phone keeps rebooting and I tried to restore it by connecting it to my MacBook pro. I got error 4013. The instructions said "Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable," but my macbook pro doesn't have USB port, only Type-C. What do I do?

Use an USB to USB-C adapter.
