MacBook Pro 2019 16-inch displays a vertical line down the center of my Mac. Does anyone know a resolution?

Yes, bolder28- but you won’t like it… find your local AASP ( Apple authorized service provider) or Apple Store with Genius Bar, call/contact either one, make an appointment with either one and take it in for evaluation and probable service… IF you had already bought AppleCare+, that would’ve extended the warranty to 3 years… otherwise, keep your wallet ( and credit card) close at hand…

Vertical lines appearing on a MacBook Pro's screen can be indicative of a hardware issue. Here are a few possible causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Graphics card or driver issue: Sometimes, faulty graphics card drivers or issues with the graphics card itself can result in vertical lines on the screen. To troubleshoot this, try updating the macOS to the latest version available. Go to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Software Update and install any pending updates.

2. Loose display cable: In some cases, a loose or partially disconnected display cable can cause vertical lines on the screen. To check this, you may need to open up the MacBook Pro and ensure all the internal connections are secure. However, if you are not familiar with hardware repairs, it's best to consult an authorized Apple service provider for assistance.

3. Physical damage: If your MacBook Pro has been subjected to physical damage, such as a drop or impact, it's possible that the display itself is damaged. Unfortunately, this typically requires a professional repair or screen replacement.

4. External factors: Sometimes, external factors like magnetic interference from nearby devices or cables can cause display abnormalities. Try moving your MacBook Pro to a different location away from other electronics or cables to see if the issue persists.

If none of these troubleshooting steps resolve the problem, it's recommended to contact Apple Support or visit an authorized Apple service provider for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose the issue accurately and provide appropriate solutions or repairs.
