Apple Watch app not showing current face
the Apple Watch app is not showing my current face and u tried restarting both devices and don’t want to reset my watch as it takes for ever to sync and gets stuck on the sync screen

We notice that the iPhone needs charging. We would start there.
Once charged, are you able to see the faces you expect to see on the Apple Watch itself?
You should be able to change the face by following these steps found at Change the watch face on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
How to switch the watch face on your Apple Watch
1. If your Apple Watch isn't already showing a watch face, press the Digital Crown until your watch face is displayed.
2. From your watch face, swipe left or right from edge to edge to see the watch faces that you've added to your faces.
3. Stop when you get to the watch face that you want to use.
