Thank you,
I'm actually part of the IT department but we usually work on Windows operating systems, we only have one Macbook Air used by our development team to test our apps... so we don't really do any troubleshooting on MacOS. Last saturday power went out in our building, we weren't working at the time but the macbook is always on because our developers need to remote access to it whenever they want. When we came back on monday the screen showed this:
(pic not mine but the same screen)
To my understanding this happens when the mac unexpectedly turns off when it is undergoing updates (which I don't think we were doing at the time because the mac was already updated to the latest version of the OS).
At this point we followed the link showed in the picture and tried reviving and then restoring the broken mac using another mac (considering we don't have another one, or at least not one that supports Ventura, I brought my own mac to use Apple Configurator 2). But almost at the end that error message popped up.
I don't have the english version but I could translate:
Impossible restoring the operating system on this device: it was impossible to complete the operation ... (error code) -> STOP
We also tried accessing the Recovery mode by keeping the power button clicked (for it being a m1-based macbook air) but it just turns on and off.
What I'm trying to understand is the meaning of the error... it says it's error 1100, but I still haven't found anyone mentioning this error. Or at least it relates to something about iTunes which is not really my problem.
I'm sorry if my question wasn't as clear as possible. I think I explained better what happened this time.
But my next step is probably going to an Apple Store and ask for support there, see if there's some hardware problems that prevent the restoring from happening.
