Photos app does nothing when clicking on share button and selecting email. Starting a new thread since the one that popped up here was from 2013.

Try going to System Settings, Privacy & Security, Extensions, Sharing. Then select which extensions you'd like to use to share with others.
What e-mail Client is Set as the Default e-mail Client

Is here there is more than One E-mail Client installed ?
When I use the Sharing in Photos there are several Options including Mail, Message, Air Drop etc
If the user looks carefully in original Image which is included again.
Just incase it was overlooked, here is a new Redacted image and yes I do not appear in any of the pictures
The Image is from Within the Photos Application
I click on the photo(s) and at top right of Menu Bar in Photos is the Share button
Should this not work, it does work on 4 different Apple Computer all running Ventura 13.4 for me
Then have a few suggestions ;
1 - Get Support Choose a product and we’ll find you the best solution.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues .
2 - Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue
I have my iCloud, Gmail, and an old in active email address that sometimes automatically shows up when I try to send an email.
iCloud is set up as default
So is mine but the Client is an Application
Apple Mail is normally the Default e-mail Client unless you have, say an Application like MS Outlook or some other Third Party E-mail Application
There's no box to be able to check...see photo
Ah, I use Apple Email--there are no other email clients.
