Before buying a new Mac Pro 2023 I`d like to know if the Promise Pegasus R4i MPX RAID works in the Mac Pro 2023 with Apple Silicon Chips?

I can confirm that the Promise Pegasus R4i MPX RAID does not work in the Mac Pro 2023. The Promise Pegasus R4i MPX RAID requires a MPX slot. The Mac Pro 2019 was designed with the MPX slots that can power large video cards. The Mac Pro 2023 with the video built into the SOC does not have MPX slots. It only has single PCIe slots. Promise technologies assures me that I can move the four 8T disk drives into an R2 raid box and they should work. I have not tried this yet...so beware...
