emoji on photoshop

When I use emoji or symbols in Aps such as Photoshop or Cricut on my Mac they display as a box with an x inside instead of the symbol..How do I correct this?

how to disable emoji in Chinese input keyboard? by default, the character selection box of Mac OS Chinese input comes with a bunch of emojis mixed with the true Chinese characters. Those emojis are very very annoying, they should never be there. They occupy the limited, precious character selection positions, they can never be used in official documents, and they disrupt the regular space of Chinese characters. I tried very hard but in had no luck of removal or disable the emojis. Apple God, please help me.

emoji short cut not working in Messages macOS Big Sur It's a small problem but the short cut control command space to pop up emojis isn't working anymore in Messages. It's still working on Safari, like in this text field. MacBook Pro Retina late 2013, MacOS 11.7.10. Update: Rebooting the computer fixed it.

You have to use the Glyphs palette in order to place emojis into Photoshop.
