iPhone startup loop with green flash

I've had 2 years of this! My iPhone XS just dies and then randomly I will get a restore to work. It gets stuck on the restart loop - apple logo, green flash and then restore symbol. I would try different laptops, different cables and there seems to be no logic to the way it finally restores. Interestingly, I had the most success with an apple laptop vs any other PCs. But now, that does not even work for me. The phone was working last week, but after an automatic update on May 31st 2023, it is back to an unrestorable phone. I have an iphone 7 but it does not support the new IOS so I cannot even restore from my icloud backup. I have lost all my messages,contacts etc. its an absolute nightmare. Is this apple's way of getting us to upgrade? Oh and my iwatch crashed and won't restore ...in the same week! Is this a coincidence?? Very fed up with Apple products! Did this happen to anyone and is there any hope for the iphone XS? Thanks for any replies

Nope my XS Max has no issue what so ever, so the statement about Apple way of getting people to upgrade is false.
