WhatsApp Microphone access remains turned on after ending the call.

When I use WhatsApp desktop for any voice or video calling the Mic access remains turned on for 3-5 minutes after the call has ended. This is a major privacy concern which I believe is an issue from WhatsApp ( Meta :) ) and not from Apple.

I have an Android phone and I am facing the same issue on a daily basis. I have verified that it happens with Google and OnePlus phones.

This is even after 2 months of this issue being highlighted by numerous users throughout the world.

I don't know if there is a fix out there to resolve this, but if someone has a solution to this problem then it would be great.
