Is there a way to only sync SOME Desktop files to iCloud? I have my work folder on my Desktop together with a bunch of other things I don't want available on all my devices. Just want the work folder synced to iCloud.

Why does iCloud create a subfolder inside my Documents folder when it starts to sync? I have turned the option for iCloud to sync my desktop and document folder to iCloud. However in doing so I noticed that ICloud has created a subfolder in my documents folder on my laptop, as well as a desktop subfolder. How can I eliminate these subfolders and use just the regular documents and desktop? Thank you!
