Hue/Apple home and iOS 16.5

I have been experiencing trouble with my Apple home kit when trying to do simple instructions like turning the light on. However my HomePod mini has not been responding. When I investigated with the Apple home app it stated that it was updating (Yesterday) Today I tried to on the lights again however it says it is still updating. No updates take this long. Looking at other conversations I believe that I need to update something however I do not know what to update. In my Apple home.

Can someone please advise.

It is very inconvenient as my kit was out of my own money.
