Hi, thanks for responding to my post.
I'm having issues with my CarPlay working when connected to My iPhone 10 which is attached to the XS Smart Battery Case connecting to CarPlay in my 2018 GMC Sierra Truck.
Both iphone and Apple Smart Battery Case are functioning, charging properly and charged fully when I plug it into my CarPlay using via USB. It just stopped connecting recently.
I know it’s my XS Smart Battery Charging Case because when I remove the case from my iPhone, it connects to CarPlay via USB.
I have 2 other Apple Smart Battery Charging cases that are also fully functioning and when attaching the other 2 Apple Smart Battery Cases, the same issue happens where it will not connect to CarPlay while attached to iPhone.
If I remove the any of my Apple Smart Charging cases from my iPhone and connect only the iPhone to CarPlay, it works that way.
I have done all the trouble shooting Apple has suggested online.
I have also checked for software updates on both my iPhone and 2018 GMC Sierra Truck’s CarPlay and everything is up to date.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled CarPlay from my iPhone and rebooted iPhone and I’m still having the same issue
just wondering if anyone has had similar issues using an Apple Smart Battery Case using CarPlay via usb.
I only noticed this since one of the most recent iPhone software updates.
