Has Apple been hacked today?

I am having a very hard time using the apple.com website today - it constantly logs me out. I log in and click the Support menu and it logs me out and I have to log in again? It has been doing this for over an hour. I tried calling tech support and some guy with a rooster crowing in the background who could barely speak English could not understand me when spelling out my Apple ID? I called tech support back again and in the middle of the call was just cut off. I started a Live Chat and as soon as it says Thanks for contacting Apple Support. Please give me a moment to look over your information. 9:46 AM. Shaneik has left this chat. So, even Live Chat does not work. I have a new iPhone 14. When tech support calls me back the call just ends after 3 seconds? What on Earth is going on here - has Apple been hacked or something? It's really weird.

I received an email stating my Apple TV was going to renew. I have never had Apple TV and why I have been trying to login. It seems the Apple website and support are having serious problems ATM.

I have given up on Apple for now.

I see the payment has been taken without my consent. So I will just chargeback the credit card payment for fraud and report it to the authorities.

Thanks

No problem. You can see if there are any Subscriptions using the App Store app on you iPhone. After you open it, tap ID icon in the upper right, then tap subscriptions.

With a new phone you are eligible for a free trial of Apple TV that will charge you after the trial. It has to be set up using a code provided by the retailer after your phone is set up. Apple does not do this automatically.
