iPhone 14 phone call issue

My wife and I just got iPhones for the first time, converting from android phones. We have iPhone 14's. I don't know what I did, but when people dial my cell phone number, it rings on her phone. How can I fix that?

Wondering if you inserted your SIM card in the other phone by mistake.

or

Maybe calls divert to your wife's phone if your iPhone is not available ?

Thanks brbo for your suggestions regarding people calling my cell phone and it ringing on my wife's phone instead. I tried all your suggestions, but unfortunately none of them worked. Then I contacted Apple, but after an hour on the phone with them, and having them try many things - none of which solved the problem - they suggested they contact my carrier. I did, and after 2 more hours on the phone with them, the Tech Dept. had me turn off my phone, then restart it while they reset the phone from their end. Problem solved.
