I'm raising this again because even though it's been mentioned several times over the years, it appears to still be an issue.
Even though my Apple Watch is set to Silent Mode (reflected on the Watch itself and in the Watch app), I still get audible dings for things like text messages.
How can I fix this?

Check to see if you have Taptic Chimes enabled on your Apple Watch from Settings > Accessibility > Chimes. This may be why you receive chimes in Silent Mode.

Thanks, but no, that setting wasn't on. Here's more info: it only seems to happen when I'm at my Mac, with my phone locked.
Apple Watch still rings/dings in silent mode.
