The system frequently makes me login twice using my user password. A fix was provided on this forum a couple years ago, but the answer was provided for the case in which FileVault was enabled. But in my case FileVault is NOT enabled. Can someone tell me how to fix the problem in this case?

The password of your macOS user account might not match the password of your login keychain. Either create a new login keychain or update it with your new password.
If you need to update your keychain password on Mac
By default, your keychain password is the same as your user password (the password you use to log in to the computer). If you change the user password in Users & Groups preferences, the keychain password is automatically changed to match it. If your user password is changed by an administrator, your keychain password may not be changed automatically, and you’re asked to enter the keychain password the next time you log in. Thank you for your reply, but I'm the administrator and I've never changed my password or my keychain password. Furthermore, I don't see a Keychain Access app.
It's in Applications>Utilities folder.
Thank you again. After launching Keychain Access and following the list of steps in your initial message, I note that the option to "Change Password for Keychain “login.”" is dimmed-or not available. So I'm stuck at step 2.
