Hi! I know this perhaps isn't the most reliable or professional advice, but I'm an Airpods owner who had the same issue when I first got mine. It took 1 - 2 weeks for the issue to go away, I just persevered. I think my issue is that I was wearing them in a non-optimal position that was uncomfortable. Also, consider trying different-sized ear tips. If this problem persists for more than a few weeks, your best bet is to probably return them for different headphones (maybe try non-silicone tipped airpods).

same for me, even without noise reduction i cannot stand them, i bought version 1 and 2 and sent them back after a few days

i use normal airpods (non pro) without any problem or Bose quietcomfort

Same here I’ve tried a couple different brands to I’ve tried the apple , onn and skull candy wireless ear buds and they all have the same outcome . Headache. I’m not sure what this is .
