Allergic Reaction to Airpods 3rd Gen.

Hey everyone, I am having an allergic reaction to the contact point of my Airpods 3rd generation. I know that people react to Airpods Pro due to the silicon tips, but that's not what is bothering me. It's the actual contact point that the little metallic cap is touching my skin. I was wondering if there is a way to stop this? Or if I should get a set of Pros or 2nd gen Airpods instead. I feel like I'm the only person in the world that has this issue as when I look it up on Google, all I see are people reacting to the pros. Thank you.

I’m sorry to hear you are having this problem. Personally, I have not heard of this problem either. The first thing I suggest is to contact Apple support. (Tap Support at the top or bottom of this page.) Then, contact your doctor to discuss what might be causing this.

As for trying the AirPod Pros, they do have have shorter stems and the tips of mine do not actually touch my face if I put them in carefully. But the tips are still metal so, if you have an allergy, they may still aggravate your skin.
