I have a numbers sheet set out like a document. This is so we can auto-populate fields with a drop-down menu, that pulls data from other sheets. However, populating the field moves the cell over the table below it.
Is there a way we can keep a constant gap between the two tables?

I'm running Numbers 13.0. When I place on table beneath another and expand the top table, the bottom table moves down automatically, unless I've locked the second table.
Try unlocking Test Results and see if that gives the behavior you want.

I confirm the diagnosis. Looks like a bug/oversight. It works fine if you manually type multi-line (text wrapped) text but not when it is from a pop-up menu or the result of a formula. Time for another bug report...
Go to Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback in the menu and choose Bug from the drop-down.

Thanks for confirming this on your side, I'm glad you understand the issue I'm having and were able to replicate it.
How do you log a bug report? are you able to do this? Or point me in the right direction?

Thanks for your reply. It moves down automatically if I create a new field. But if I autopopulate the field from a drop down menu it does not. No fields are locked. Any other ideas?
