Siri's voice keeps changing to American randomly

Is there a way to stop my phone from changing Siri's voice randomly? it's done it a few times now, which is an easy fix but it's annoying to do it every day.

I'm on the 14 with the latest iOS and have the language set to English (United States) but the voice to British (Voice 2). I just prefer the British voice after using it for so long but would rather it use the grammar that I use.

Siri changes it's voice on its own to American Voice 1 : iOS 18.2 US Wasn't able to post against the original question so re-opening the conversation by re-posting the question. If you've lost your Aussie Siri and are not in Australia it may have to do with your phone language (English US or English Canada etc) needing to matchup w/your Siri selection. In settings make sure Language is English AU, and in Siri that it matches. It worked for me. Of course this is simply a feeble workaround and if you're using the AI it might make it less than effective. I just wanted my voice back.

Changing Siri voice on my iPhone post iOS 18.2 update. I am wondering if anyone else is having a problem with their 18.2 update completely changing Siri’s voice, tone and speech? It refuses to change back. I am super upset by the change and the only information I can find is that they are trying to make her voice more “gender neutral”. I am autistic & have CPTSD. The new voice sounds rude and has made me cry 3 times today. I delivery drive for a living and spend 6-8 hours a day with my maps on. I cannot handle the new voice and maps wont even let me turn off the voice. How is taking away options for voice style inclusive? If this isn’t fixed I may have to download (gasp) google because I can’t and won’t put up with it. [Re-Titled By Moderator]
